Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma has stepped down as Chairman of the Chinese e-commerce giant. His departure marks the completion of his plan to pass the reigns of the company onto a successor.

中国电商巨头阿里巴巴集团创始人马云卸任集团董事局主席，此番卸任标志着他将公司的领导权移交给继任者的计划完成。

Alibaba held an event to celebrate its 20th anniversary and bid farewell to Ma. The founder also marked his 55th birthday on the occasion.

马云在阿里巴巴20周年庆典上正式登台“告别”，同时他还度过了55岁生日。

Ma said he was planning to start a new life going forward. A year earlier, he announced his intention to resign from his role at the company he founded in 1999.

马云说，他计划开始新的生活。一年前，他宣布将辞去自己在阿里巴巴的职务。1999年，他创建了这家公司。

Chief Executive Daniel Zhang is in line to take over as Chairman. Ma plans to stay on as a board member until mid-2020.

Shanghai Disney Resort on Wednesday implemented a new policy allowing visitors to bring food and beverage into its theme park after its food ban triggered a dispute.

9月11日，上海迪士尼乐园开始实施其主题乐园的食品携带新规，游客可携带食品及饮料进入园区，此前上海迪士尼乐园因禁止携带食品入园而引发争议。

Andrew Bolstein, Shanghai Disney Resort senior vice president of operations, said guests are allowed to bring outside food and beverage items into the park for self-consumption, provided that they do not require heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or temperature control and do not have pungent odors.

上海迪士尼度假区运营部高级副总裁包兆天表示，即日起，游客可携带供本人食用的食品及饮料进入上海迪士尼乐园，但不允许携带需加热、再加热、加工、冷藏或保温的食品及带有刺激性气味的食品。

He said in order to minimize the impact of the security screening on guests, the resort's team will provide a more guest-friendly security screening process.

他说，为了尽可能降低安检对游客体验的影响，度假区团队将即刻实行更友好、人性化的安检流程和服务。

The resort introduced the food ban in November 2017 to prohibit any outside food or alcoholic beverages into the park, only allowing beverages in bottles less than 600 ml.

从2017年11月起，上海迪士尼乐园规定禁止游客携带食品和酒精饮料入园，非酒精饮料容量不得超过600毫升。

Visitors complained about the ban and the high dining costs inside the park. In March, a law student sued the resort after being refused entry with snacks.

游客对该规定和园区内食品价格较贵表示不满。今年3月，一名法学院学生因携带零食入园被拒，将上海迪士尼乐园告上法庭。

Huawei released the "5G Applications Position Paper" in Budapest on Tuesday at a forum on the sideline of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Telecom World 2019, looking forward to 5G application scenarios in the areas of enhancing broadband, media and entertainment, industrial manufacturing, and intelligent transportation.
