1月19日23时00分，河南省南阳市方城县119指挥中心接报警，独树镇砚山铺村英才学校一宿舍发生火灾。方城县消防救援大队组织救援力量迅速到达现场，23时38分现场明火被扑灭。事故造成13人遇难，1人受伤，伤者正在医院救治，目前生命体征稳定。

Thirteen students were killed and another one injured in a fire that took place in a school dormitory in Fangcheng county, in the city of Nanyang, Central China's Henan province, on Friday night, according to local authorities.

2022年4月，广州某高校一栋宿舍楼某宿舍突发火情。消防救援人员赶赴现场后发现，浓烟从起火宿舍不断涌出，经过努力扑救，明火被扑灭，所幸暂无人员伤亡。经初步调查，起火原因为学生携带电动车电池回宿舍充电。

2022年6月，湖南长沙某高校，一男生宿舍突发火灾，消防救援人员迅速赶赴现场扑灭火势，没有人员伤亡。经调查，起火原因初步鉴定为吸烟遗留火种引发火灾。

2020年12月，湖南长沙某大学一学生宿舍起火。据调查，该宿舍学生由于违章使用吹风机后没有及时关闭，在宿舍恢复用电时，其吹风机继续保持工作状态，最终点燃可燃物导致火灾。所幸当时宿舍无人，没有造成伤亡。

Students in the dormitory did not switch off their hair dryers in time after unauthorised use, and when electricity was restored to the dormitory, their hair dryers continued to remain in working condition, eventually igniting combustible materials and causing a fire.

离开宿舍未及时切断用电

Leaving the dormitory without cutting off the electricity in time

离开宿舍时，应关掉所有电源开关，切断所有电源，做到“人走电断”，包括为电脑、充电宝等充电等行为，避免因电器长时间处于通电状态等情况引发火灾。

违规私拉、乱接电线

在安全检查中，某些同学私自从宿舍空调插座等处转接插排，或将插排连接插排，放在床铺、书本、被褥等易燃物品上使用，有极大的安全隐患。宿舍内严禁私拉、乱接电线。

使用违章电器

 Using prohibited electrical appliances

日常住宿生活中，尤其冬季时期，检查发现有同学在宿舍里使用或存放热得快、电煮锅、电热毯、取暖器等违章电器，易引发安全事故。这些违章电器在宿舍内，均严禁使用。

在寝室内、楼道或阳台处吸烟

学生公寓内包含寝室、公共区域、楼道、阳台等室内空间严禁使用明火、严禁抽烟、严禁焚烧杂物，一旦遗留火种后果将不堪设想。

将电动车电瓶带入楼内充电

Bringing electric bike batteries into the dormitory for charging

电动自行车切勿室内充电，一旦起火、爆炸，将在极短时间内造成可怕的后果。禁止在公寓内存放或为助动车（含电瓶车、平衡车、电平板车）以及其大容量电池充电。请同学前往学校集中充电区进行充电。

在楼道安全通道等公共区域堆放物品

公寓楼道不仅是住宿学生日常的通道，也是楼宇的公共区域，是消防安全通道。楼道堆放纸箱、拖鞋等杂物不仅影响进出通行和整体环境，更重要的是存在消防安全隐患，可能引发火灾，或影响他人逃生及消防设备的取用。
