2022年德国电影展百老汇片单率先发布

今年的德国电影展即将于12月9日-18日于北京展开，在为期十天的时间里，我们将带来多部精彩的德国影片。本次首先带来的是将于百老汇影城展映的7部作品，将会于北京百老汇电影中心、北京百老汇影城apm店、北京百丽宫影城国贸店与观众见面（放映影院以实际排片为准）。

2022年德国电影展由德国电影协会主办，北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）和百老汇影城协办。自2013年以来，影展一直致力于提供德国当代影坛佳作，加深中德文化交流。

The 10th Festival of German Cinema in China is organized by German Films, supported by the Goethe-Institut China and Broadway Cinemas. Many of the latest German films of the past year will be screened in Beijing for 10 days from Dec 9th to 18th. Here, we are introducing the first seven films that will be screened at Broadway Cinemas in Beijing, including Broadway Cinematheque Beijing (MOMA), Palace Cinema (CWTC BJ), Beijing Broadway Cinema (apm). Final venues and screening schedule will be announced soon and are subject to change. 

Since 2013, the festival has been dedicated to showing contemporary German films and promoting Sino-German cultural exchange.

Rabiye Kurnaz is someone you might generally call an ordinary woman, except that she is a real dynamo. Taking care of her children and much more. Shortly after the attacks of September 11, 2001, her son Murat is accused of terrorism and is (one of the first) shipped off to Guantanamo prison camp. This marks the beginning of a journey into the heart of world politics for this resolute German-Turkish woman. Together with human rights lawyer Bernhard Docke, whom she soon has completely on her side (like almost everyone around her), she battles for the release of her son – using her very own brand of self-taught English – all the way to the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.

Rojin, a heartbroken young woman who is suffering from depression after the disappearance of her fiance, is preparing for her university entrance exam. If she fails, her father will force her into marriage. If she succeeds, however, she might lead a more emancipated life and avoid the fate of her older sister Shilan, who is unhappily married to a conservative man who demands her to be a proper housewife. Seeing that her younger sister struggles to achieve that dream, Shilan becomes desperate to make her pass the exam by any means necessary. This decision puts the sisters under immense pressure from their environment both at home and in school, as they become entangled in a huge network of corruption that is connected through all parts of society.

《爱、马克与死亡》是一部关于移居德国的土耳其客工和他们的孙子的独立的、至今仍不为人知的音乐的纪录片。以音乐和散文的形式，卡姆·卡亚分享了对这种被遗忘的亚文化的独特活力的洞察力。1960年代初，德意志联邦共和国招募了来自安纳托利亚和土耳其其他地区的所谓客籍工人。从一开始，就有一种东西始终伴随着他们，并成为他们文化的一部分：他们的音乐--在异国他乡的一片家园。多年来，独立的音乐方向在德国发展起来，而在他们的祖国却没有这种形式。

LOVE, DEUTSCHMARKS AND DEATH is a documentary film about the independent, and as of yet, unknown music of emigrated Turkish guest workers and their grandchildren in Germany. In a musical and essayistic form, Cem Kaya shares insights into the unique liveliness of this forgotten subculture.

An understated love story, a melodrama without pathos, a fragile story about the ambiguous nature of love and the impossibility of overcoming it through reason.

Erik, recently retired, is looking forward to some post-work adventure and to enjoy his family. These plans are thrown into doubt as the harsh reality of his wife Juditha’s accelerating illness causes his own health to deteriorate. Juditha refuses to accept any outside help as Erik buckles under the pressure. QUIET FREEDOM explores a long-married couple’s difficult choices and the need to rediscover the foundation of their marriage to find each other again. Juditha and Erik in their 60s are facing the wife’s illness, the shame and disappointment related to it, as well as expectations and ever-changing hopes. A couple will need to rediscover the foundation of their marriage to find each other again.

Martha and Betty have known each other for twenty years and they have decided to break through. Their goal is in front of them, with disaster looming from behind. In this unusual road movie, fiction meets scientific fact to explore the most pressing question of our time: the extinction of wildlife.
