10月18日，我校2023级同学们在七彩广场开展了本次英语角活动。本次演讲以展示自我（introduce myself)为主题，同学们积极地展现了与众不同的自我和多彩多样的自我。本次演讲角，我们有幸邀请到了张盛副校长，代东风副校长以及鞠友会主任一起来感受同学们自己所认识的自我。
本次活动由初一1班吴萱懿同学主持。

每一个人都是一朵花，开放出五彩斑斓的颜色；每一个人都是一棵树，能成长出千姿百态的模样。这个社会上所有充满个性的人使这个世界正常的运作，用自己的特长在每一个平凡的位置焕发出独属于自己的光芒。你或许认为你自己平平无奇，可实际上你独一无二。别人或许对你产生不理解和不认同，但请你坚持自己，因为你不可能与他人完全一样，努力成为你梦想中的自己吧！接下来，让我们一起来看看同学们眼中的自己吧！

Moving on to my hobbies, one of my favorite activities is reading books. Reading not only broadens my knowledge but also helps me relax after a long day at school. Besides that, I enjoy playing Guzheng during my free time. It brings me joy and allows me to express myself through music.
谈到我的爱好，其中之一就是读书。阅读不仅扩展了我的知识面，还能在长时间上学后帮助我放松身心。除此之外，在空闲时间里弹古筝也是我的喜欢的活动之一。它给予了我快乐，并且让我通过音乐表达自己。

Apart from academics, I believe it is essential to develop other skills as well. Therefore, I actively engage in sports activities such as basketball and swimming. These not only keep me physically fit but also teach me the importance of teamwork and perseverance.

I like all food, except fish. But my parents both like fish. So I sometimes don’t have dinner at home. If I’m hungry I choose to cook curry for myself. But my parents think it’s unhealthy.
所有食物我都喜欢，除了鱼。但是我爸妈爱吃鱼，所以我偶尔不在家吃晚饭。如果我饿了，我会给自己做一顿咖喱。我爸妈总是认为这不健康。
演讲最后，张校围绕演讲话题，以全英文的方式和同学们亲切地互动，同时引导孩子们怎样通过提问来了解他人。
精彩的对校长提问环节结束后，来到了激动人心的颁奖时刻，本次活动由张盛副校长、代东风副校长和鞠友会主任颁奖。
正如李白曾经说过“天生我材必有用”。每一个人都拥有属于自己的能力，而每一个人都能展现出自己的才能。我们也见识到了同学们各自独特的魅力。希望同学们能够坚持这独属于自己的魅力，在今后的道路上，凭借它们创造出自己的未来。
