主讲人简介

Richard Thomas: George Martin Lane Professor of the Classics and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of the Classics at Harvard University. An internationally renowned Latinist, who is also interested in Hellenistic Greek poetry, the reception of Classical literature, and the lyrics of Bob Dylan, Professor Thomas has published 121 articles, 4 monographs, 2 texts and commentaries for the Cambridge Greek and Latin Classics series, and 5 co-edited books. He has also had many administrative roles including serving as a Trustee for Loeb Classical Library since 2001, and editor for Harvard Studies in Classical Philology, (2012, 2018–21). His ground-breaking work on Bob Dylan has incurred much attention. His book Why Bob Dylan Matters (Dey Street Books/HarperCollins, 2017) is currently being translated into Chinese. He has taught courses on Bob Dylan at Harvard, and has been serving on the Editorial Board for Dylan Review since 2019. 


哈佛大学古典学系乔治·马丁·莱恩(George Martin Lane)古典学教授和研究生研究主任。托马斯教授是国际知名的拉丁语言文学大家,对希腊化时期的希腊诗歌、古典文学的接受、鲍勃·迪伦的词曲也很感兴趣。托马斯教授著作等身,发表文章121 篇、专著4 部,在“剑桥希腊和拉丁古典系列”(黄绿本)出版校勘本与注释2部, 并出版 5 部合编书籍。他还担任过许多行政职务,包括担任“洛布古典丛书”董事(2001至今),《哈佛古典学研究》编辑(2012 年,2018-21 年),等。他对鲍勃·迪伦的研究具有开创性,并引起了广泛关注。他的著作《鲍勃·迪伦为何重要》(Dey Street Books/HarperCollins,2017 年)目前正在被译成中文。他曾在哈佛大学教授关于鲍勃·迪伦的课程,并自 2019 年以来担任《迪伦评论》的编委。



主持人简介

Yijie (Vivian) Jin 金逸洁:BA in Classics from Cornell University; currently a PhD candidate in Classics at Harvard University. Her research interests include classical poetry, historical linguistics, and literary theories. She is currently translating Ovid's Amores into Chinese with commentaries.


康奈尔大学古典学学士、哈佛大学古典学博士候选人,研究兴趣为古典诗歌、历史语言学、文学理论等。在“古罗马诗人奥维德全集译注”项目中负责《恋歌》的译注工作。
