中国范儿126 景泰蓝——皇室工艺 国礼重器
“珍珠串，景泰蓝，玉器玲珑看不完”老北京的这句俗语提到了“燕京八绝”中的三“绝”。其中之一的景泰蓝是北京著名的汉族传统手工艺品，距今已有600多年的历史，又称“铜胎掐丝珐琅”。“嵌珐琅”，是一种在铜质的胎型上，用柔软的扁铜丝，掐成各种花纹焊上，然后把珐琅质的色釉填充在花纹内烧制而成的器物 。因其在明朝景泰年间盛行，制作技艺比较成熟，使用的珐琅釉多以蓝色为主，故而得名“景泰蓝”。
"Pearl strings, cloisonné and jades are beautiful and ever eye-catching"---the old popular saying mentions three among Yanjing's( Old Beijing) eight featured artworks. Cloisonné, one of the most famous traditional handicrafts of Han nationality in Beijing, dates back more than 600 years. It's also known as "copper padding thread enamel", or "thread enamel". It is a kind of utensil made of soft flat copper wire on the copper tire, which is molded into various patterns and welded, and then the patterns are filled with enamel colored glaze. Because it was popular in Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty and its craftsmanship was relatively mature, the enamel used was mostly blue, so it was named "cloisonné".
As a kind of palace art, cloisonné is a noble decorative art in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and a symbol of royal power and status. In addition, the production process is very complex. It uses bronze and porcelain technology both. At the same time, it is an exquisite display of traditional painting and carving skills. It is a complex process integrating multiple technologies, which can be called a great achievement of traditional Chinese technology. Thus, the saying goes: "One cloisonné equals ten boxes of official kilns".
With high historical and artistic value, cloisonné was listed as the first batch of intangible cultural heritage by the state in 2006 due to its historical and artistic significance. In the chapter of "state ceremony" in the diplomatic history of new China, cloisonné art has an irreplaceable status of respect. It is often selected as the state gift to foreign heads of state, state leaders, politicians, international authoritative organizations and institutions. Cloisonné also often shows up at ceremonies of key international sport events and meetings in China.
