（1）会务费￥800元，研究生凭有效注册的学生证减半（￥400元）。（会议报到时交纳，美元按届时汇率折算。）

Call for Papers

 The 7th International Conference on the Construction and Application of Chinese Interlanguage Corpora

31st March -3rd April, 2023 (Hybrid)

The 7th International Conference on the Construction and Application of Chinese Interlanguage Corpora will be held on 31st – 3rd April, 2023, hosted by the Tongji University in Shanghai, China. This conference will be held in hybrid format of both in person face-to-face and online. We welcome contributions to the Abstracts and Full papers from all researchers and scholars, teachers and educators in the relevant disciplines.

The conference aims at further promoting the construction and research of the Chinese interlanguage corpora, discussing issues related to the construction and application of Chinese language resources, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between experts and scholars worldwide, and accelerating the corpora to better serve the research in the fields such as Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language, Chinese Language Acquisition, Chinese Interlanguage Theory, Chinese Language Assessment and Proficiency Testing etc.. This international conference is jointly organised by ten universities across the world, including: University of California Davis, USA; University of Nottingham, UK; Beijing Language and Culture University, Tongji University, Nanjing University, Ludong University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Beijing Normal University, China.

I. Conference Theme: Challenges and opportunities in the construction and application of Chinese interlanguage corpora in the Post-pandemic Era

Specific Topics include but not limited to:

1.The situation, characteristics, challenges and opportunities of international Chinese education in the Post-pandemic Era

2.Theories in the construction of Chinese interlanguage corpora

3.Interlanguage corpora-based and corpora-driven studies on the Chinese second language learners

4.Chinese interlanguage corpora and Chinese second language acquisition

5.Chinese interlanguage corpora and Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language

6.The application of Natural Language Processing in Chinese interlanguage research

7.Software development in the construction of Chinese interlanguage corpora

8.Chinese interlanguage corpora and Chinese language assessment and testing

9.Chinese ontology from the perspective of Chinese interlanguage corpora

II. Conference papers submission

1.You are invited to submit an e-copy of abstract with app. 600 Chinese characters or 400 English words (excluding the title, author names, affiliations and references) to the conference mailbox dqjzjyhuiyi@126.comby February 28th, 2023. Please also provide 3-4 keywords in your abstract to help us categorize your presentation;

2.All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by experts. The result will be notified in March, and for all the accepted papers, the conference organisting committee will send an electronic invitation to authors before March 15th, 2023 (And a hard copy of the invitation will be provided at the time of registration);

3.Selected papers presented at the conference will be collected in the conference proceedings Selected Papers of the 7th International Conference on the Construction and Application of Chinese Interlanguage Corpora. Please send the full paper (app. 8000 Chinese characters or equivalent of English) to the conference mailbox dqjzjyhuiyi@126.combefore July 1st, 2023 (within three months after the conference).

III. Conference time and working languages

1.Conference Registration (In Person participants): 31st March, 2023;

2.Conference Presentations (In Person & Online participants) : 1st -2nd April;

3.Conference in person participants leaving: 3rd April;

4.Conference working languages: Chinese and English.

IV.  Conference Fees and service

1.Conference fee: ￥800RMB to be paid at the time of registration, and the equivalent dollars or pounds shall be converted according to the exchange rate at that time; ￥400RMB for postgraduate students (with a valid registered student card);

2.Conference dinners, working lunches, refreshments, handbook and conference material are included;

3.Transportation and accommodation are not included but information can be provided in further notice.
