今天英国传出一个让人心痛的消息， 一名中国留学生在英国医院离世。

据莱斯特大学官网，他是该校媒体和广告专业的研究生赵同学。赵同学于去年9月入学。2020年3月26住进莱斯特皇家医院，随后在该医院去世。

据悉，该医院3月26日报告了两例因新冠肺炎死亡的病例，患者分别是一名是70多岁、一名80多岁的男子。

消息传出后，所有认识他的人都感到震惊和悲伤。

莱斯特大学媒体传播及社会学的系主任说，赵同学是个非常努力、聪慧过人的学生。他的同学说，他是一个非常温暖且充满爱的男孩，祝愿他在另一个世界安好。

The University has learned with sadness of the death of one of our postgraduate students, Zhao. joined the University of Leicester family in September 2019 and was studying for an MA in Media and Advertising. He was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary on 26 March 2020 where he passed away.

传媒、传播与社会学学院院长伊恩·萨默维尔博士写道：“学校的工作人员得知赵同学之死感到非常悲伤和震惊。我们记得赵同学是一个安静而有思想的人，是一个勤奋而又聪明的学生。我们向他的家人、朋友和同学表达最深切的哀思和同情。”

The Head of the School of Media, Communication and Sociology, Dr Ian Somerville, writes:

“It is with great sorrow and shock that the staff in the School learned of Zhao’s death. We remember Zhao as a quiet and thoughtful person and a hard-working and intelligent student. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family, his friends and classmates at this time.”

他的项目总监Giovanna Puppin博士写道： “我仍然无法相信这件事就这样发生了。赵同学是一个勤奋认真的学生。他的眼睛映射出他的善良和美好。我对他在中国的家人和朋友表达最深的哀思。在莱斯特，这里的所有讲师和同学都会怀念他的。”

His Programme Director, Dr Giovanna Puppin, writes:

“I still can’t believe this happened. Zhaowas a diligent and scrupulous student. His eyes and smile mirrored his kindness and sweetness. My thoughts go to his family and friends in China. Here in Leicester, he is already missed by all his lecturers and fellow students.”

Many of his fellow students wished to pay tribute to Zhao. Here are some of their thoughts:

“我会永远记得温柔的你，脸上总是带着笑的你，上课总是热心帮老师修电脑的你，我真的不敢相信这件事发生在你身上，如果可以，我希望我们还能再当同学，还能在同一间教室上课。”（Luo Yini）

“I will always remember that sweetness of yours, your smile, and you trying to help the teachers with their computers. I can’t believe that this happened to you. If I had the chance, I would wish to be in the same classroom with you as classmates, again.” (Luo Yini) 

Jovi，我经常这么叫他，他是我在英国认识的为数不多的男生朋友之一。还记得第一次认识他是在ELTU的语言课上，老师要求两个人一组互相做自我介绍，Jovi就是其中一个需要和我交换信息的人。他是一个我第一眼见到就觉得非常友善的人，彬彬有礼，随和亲切。每次见到Jovi，不管是远远地还是面对面，他总是笑眯眯地，讲话慢慢地，跟你打招呼。上个学期有很多的研讨会是和Jovi一起上的，有时候下课我们会一起走回家。我记得，你每次问他去哪，他的回答不是图书馆就是健身房。他是那种为数不多，外表看起来非常温柔礼貌但心里非常有主见的人。和Jovi相处的时间不算长，但是所有的时光都让人难忘。这个世界上，让人过目不忘的人有很多，但能让人一直记得的人却很少。他是个很好的男孩，也是个很好的朋友。愿他在另一个地方一切安好，我们会一直一直记得他。 (Nie Shuang)

“Jovi (Zhao), that’s what I call him usually, is one of few boys I knew here. The first time I met him was on ELTU class where teacher asked us to make self-introductions in peers and Jovi was my peer. He was very friendly, polite and nice. And then we had more seminars together, so sometimes we walked home together after class. As far as I can remember each time I asked him where he was going, the answer would be gym or library. He was a person who knew clearly what he wanted to do in life, which I don’t see in many people. I can still remember how happy the time Jovi and I spent together was. He was a good friend as well as a very kind person. We will never forget him. May he rest in peace.” (Nie Shuang)
