China Singles' Day 2015 Set to Surpass Last Year's Records

China's biggest annual online shopping festival[中国一年一度最大的网上购物节], the Single's Day[光棍节] or Double Eleven[双十一], falls on today.

今天是双十一光棍节，中国每年最大的网上购物节。

During the first 90 minutes of the shopping spree[狂欢;欢闹], nearly 32 billion yuan or some 5 billion U.S. dollars' worth of merchandise[商品;货物] was settled via Alipay on Alibaba's Chinese and international retail marketplaces[零售市场].

在购物狂欢的头90分钟内，就有价值将近320亿（约50亿美元）的商品在阿里巴巴国内外网上零售市场通过支付宝成交。

72% of the sales were settled via mobile platforms[移动平台].

其中，72%的成交是在移动平台上进行的。

Alibaba also states it expects to see a peak[山峰;最高点;峰值] of 120 thousand orders and 60 thousand payments per second.

On Monday evening, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang called Alibaba chairman Jack Ma to wish him luck[祝…好运] for today's Single's Day online sales event.

Global accounting firm[全球会计公司] KPMG[毕马威] on Tuesday predicted online sales on the Singles' Day in China will reach new high due to rising popularity of online shopping among Chinese consumers.
据全球会计师事务所KPMG预测，由于中国消费者网上购物的日益普及，光棍节当天的网上购物将会创下新的记录。
