Rumours have erupted that Kanye West has gone missing as his former business partner has been unable to track him down to serve him with a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
The 45-year-old rap star is being sued for $4.5 million (£3.7 million) by ex-business manager, Thomas St. John, over alleged unpaid fees.
However, Mr St John has been unable to track down Kanye or find a proper address to deliver his suit - and so he has reportedly told an American court he believes the star is missing.
Mr St John had been in court on December 19 in order to seek a time extension to serve the papers - and also claimed the rapper didn’t have a lawyer to accept the papers on the star’s behalf.
According to The Sun, rumours then swirled that Kanye was missing after a tweet sent by Daily Loud stated: "Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find for weeks according to his ex-business manager."
They report: “In a December 19th court filin… Thomas is seeking an extension of time to serve Ye and the other defendant, Yeezy LLC, the court docs.
“He and his attorneys are asking to extend the time until the end of March due to multiple failed attempts of contacting Ye.
“As of right now, there is a scheduled case management conference set for April 2023.”
"For Mr. West, despite our diligent efforts, we were unable to ascertain his current residential address, and therefore, have not yet made attempts to serve him personally. Instead, we have attempted to serve him by mail at multiple possible addresses."
The report goes on to suggest Mr St John’s legal team attended three different Los Angeles addresses in an attempt to find Kanye and his team, but to no avail.
Kanye was photographed attending a church in Los Angeles on December 14, while hiding beneath a mask.
While some fans online claim to have seen the star wearing a green jacket and a cap at a church on Tuesday.
