博士招生 | 香港中文大学（深圳）人文社科学院唐文方教授招收2022年全球研究博士生

香港中文大学（深圳）人文社科学院——全球与当代中国高等研究院设立的全球研究博士研究生课程于2021年开始招生，旨在重点培养新一代具有跨学科综合分析专业知识、批判思维能力和国际视野的创新型人才。该项目所涵盖的研究领域包括：国际关系、国际安全、国际政治经济学、全球治理、国际组织、比较政治、中国政治经济学和其他相关领域。

目前香港中文大学（深圳）全球研究博士研究生课程共有博士生导师4人，在读博士生7人，在大咖导师的带领下，专业教研水平稳步提升。唐文方教授是国际著名的政治学家，现任香港中文大学（深圳）校长讲座教授、人文社科学院院长、全球研究博士生导师，近三十年来一直专注于国际政治问题研究，曾在牛津大学出版社、剑桥大学出版社、斯坦福大学出版社等出版多部学术专著，并在《美国政治学杂志》、《中国季刊》、《公共政策杂志》等重要学术刊物上发表数十篇学术论文，在政治文化、民意研究、比较政治学、中国政治、中美关系等领域具有广泛影响。

现唐文方教授将依托香港中文大学（深圳）全球研究博士研究生课程，正式招收2022年全球研究博士生。

唐文方教授现任香港中文大学（深圳）校长讲座教授、人文社科学院院长。先后获中国北京大学法学学士、美国堪萨斯大学政治学硕士、美国芝加哥大学政治学博士。

历任美国匹兹堡大学政治学系教授、美国爱荷华大学政治学系主任及政治学与国际问题研究斯坦利华夏讲座教授，香港科技大学社会科学部主任、讲席教授。曾任北京大学、清华大学、西南交通大学等高校客座教授、美国斯坦福大学胡佛研究所国家研究员、新加坡国立大学东亚研究所客座研究员。目前担任国际政治学会“民意比较研究”执行委员会委员，《前沿政治科学-比较治理》(Frontiers in Political Science – Comparative Governance Section)共同主编、《政治心理学》（Political Psychology）、《政治心理学前沿》(Advances in Political Psychology) 编委会成员，曾任北京大学中国社会科学调查中心、中山大学社会科学调查中心以及中国人民大学中国综合调查项目国际学术顾问委员会成员。

唐文方教授先后出版七部学术专著，发表数十篇学术论文。他目前的研究兴趣是政治文化，政治传播，政治心理学，民意研究，社会调查与实验研究等。

About the Supervisor

Professor TANG Wenfang is the Presidential Chair Professor, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

Graduating from Peking University (BA in Laws), University of Kansas (MA in Political Science) and the University of Chicago (PhD in Political Science), Professor TANG served as the former Head and Chair Professor of the Division of Social Science at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2019-2022), C. Maxwell and Elisabeth M. Stanley and Hua-Hsia Chair Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Iowa, Assistant, Associate and Full Professor of Department of Political Science, University of Pittsburgh. He was a Visiting Professor to Peking University, Tsinghua University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Visiting Research Professor at East Asian Institute, National Singapore University, and National Fellow at Hoover Institution, Stanford University.

Professor TANG is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers in Political Science – Comparative Governance Section, Editorial Board Member of Political Psychology and Advances in Political Psychology, Executive Committee member of International Political Science Association’s Comparative Public Opinion Section. He also served as the Academic Advisory Committee member of the Institute of Social Science Survey at Peking University, Chinese General Social Survey at Renmin University, and Chinese Labor Dynamics Survey Project at Sun Yat-Sen University.

He has authored and coauthored several books published by Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and Stanford University Press, and published many articles in academic journals including American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, Political Communication, Journal of Public Policy, China Quarterly, Journal of Contemporary China, Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, among others.

His current research interests include political culture, mass politics, political communication, political psychology, public opinion research, survey experiment, among others.

请分享一下您近期的研究方向及研究成果？

本人的研究兴趣主要是用数据和实证方法检验和发展社会科学的理论与概念。在这个大的框架下，本人近年来的研究涉及的方面比较广，包括政治文化，民意研究，调查实验，民主理论，政治信任，国家与民族认同，语言与政治态度，民族宗教，性别政治，政治传播，网络媒体等等。目前本人正在利用民意调查数据研究香港的政治文化。此外，本人也在尝试在民意调查中嵌入实验研究，创造新的方法来解决民意调查数据中的准确度问题。近年来发表的学术作品可以在我的个人网站上看到：www.tangwenfang.org。

作为博士生导师，您对学生的学术背景有什么期望？

申请人应当具备社会科学某一个领域的专业训练，例如政治学，社会学，人类学，语言学，心理学，传播学，公共政策，全球研究，国际关系，计量社会科学，或其他相关领域。此外，还应当有社会科学研究方法的基本训练，并有兴趣学习使用常用的软件，如STATA，R，Python，GIS等。是否有论文发表不太重要。

申请者须符合以下条件：

1. 政治学，社会学，人类学，语言学，心理学，传播学，公共政策，全球研究，国际关系，计量社会科学等相关专业本科或硕士学位；
2. 有科研经历和定量研究方法训练的优先考虑；
3. 良好的沟通能力和英文交流读写水平；
4. 语言要求：托福网考不低于79分，笔试不低于550分；或雅思（学术类）平均分不低于6.5分。

1. Undergraduate and/or graduate training in Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Linguistics, Psychology, Media and Communication Studies, Public Policy, Global Studies, International Relations, Computational Social Science.

2. Research experience and training in quantitative research methods are preferred.

3. Fluent in English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
