来自奥地利电影制作人 Gustav Deutsch 在2013年的推出他的第一部实验性电影 Shirley: Visions of Reality /《雪莉:现实的愿景》，一个以故事片形式呈现的独特的跨学科艺术项目。
这部电影再现了美国画家 Edward Hopper 的13张画作，通过主人公 Shirley 的生活展开，透过当代画家和电影制作人对历史的双重镜头，描绘了美国30年的历史。

Behind the Scenes
Edward Hopper 相对统一和稳定的画风，为电影的拍摄提供了可能，导演 Gustav Deutsch 抓住了 Hopper 画作的精髓，通过光影、色彩、构图、视角等等元素，让整部电影介于真实与画作之间，现实与虚幻之间，一种全新的观影体验。
场景设计师 Hanna Schimek 精心还原画作中的场景与细节，摄影师 Jerzy Palacz 更是在拍摄每个景时都设置了与原画视角一致的机位。
在团队的精心操作下，电影的每一帧画面都像是出自于 Edward Hopper 之手，所以，纵然画面近乎静止，也让人不愿轻易按下快进键。
