Invitation for Chinese Learners to Celebrate the Spring Festival

The Spring Festival in the Year of the Rabbit is coming. To jointly celebrate the Chinese New Year in a happy and peaceful festival cultural atmosphere, promote multilingual exchanges and mutual understanding, Chinese Plus plans to launch online celebration activities related to the Spring Festival for Chinese learners and enthusiasts around the world.The topic page of this event will be launched on the official website of Chinese Plus (https://www.chineseplus.net) before the Chinese New Year to showcase exciting celebration activities around the world, as well as Chinese culture MOOC courses, interactive games and other exciting sections.
The Chinese Plus is now inviting Chinese language learners and enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in the following Chinese New Year activities:
1. We call for multilingual Chinese New Year Greetings. A "Mystery box" of electronic postcards in various languages and representative local images collected from around the world will be drawn by global netizen.
2. We call for Chinese New Year celebrations around the world. The submissions collected from the event will be displayed on the Chinese Plus Chinese New Year topic page and ranked according to the number of likes. The top 20 popular submissions will get prizes provided by Chinese Plus.
Do you want to express your exclusive greetings to the friends on the other side of the world, or open the "mystery box" full of expectations and surprises, and feel the diversity of the world's language civilization and cultural exchanges? All the Chinese learners and enthusiasts can participate in the name of institutions or individuals, regardless of nationality.

What are the requirements for submissions
Topic I. Multilingual Chinese New Year Greetings
(1) The format for submissions is [Greeting in Chinese] + [Greeting in other languages] + [Representative local image] + [Contributor's name or nickname]; Chinese and foreign greetings should be submitted in text form.
(2) The contributor must own the copyright of the image and it is recommended that the image be taken by yourself.
(3) Try to avoid maps, national flags, or third-party LOGOs or markings.
(4) Greeting message reference:
新春快乐，兔年吉祥！
新春快乐，福寿安康！
兔年快乐，好运连连！
兔年快乐，阖家幸福！
辞旧迎新，心想事成！
身体健康，万事如意！
岁岁平安，年年有余！

(5) You can select one or several sentence(s) from above and interpret it into another language that you are familiar with, or you can create your own greetings; there is no limit to the number of submissions per unit or individual provides.
Topic II. Chinese New Year celebrations around the world
(1) Celebrations can be submitted as an institution or as an individual.
(2) The forms of celebration are not limited to singing, dancing, instrumental music, crosstalk skits, scene performances, martial arts, acrobatics and other talent shows, posting Spring Festival couplets, making dumplings, setting off fireworks, visiting relatives and friends and other life videos are also welcome.
(3) Videos should be submitted in the format of MP4 HD1920×1080 (resolution ratio), with a duration within 10 minutes. Chinese and foreign subtitles are recommended. Please take shots with a mobile phone or other professional equipment in landscape mode. If you use a mobile phone to shoot, it is recommended to use professional auxiliary equipment such as a tripod and a stabilizer to ensure the video quality.
How to participate
(1) You can participate in either or both of the above two calls for entries.
(2) Please send your submissions to zwlm@chineseplus.net before submission deadline. Submission email should be titled with “Name of the submission + your unit + your name"; in the body of the email, please give a brief introduction of yourself and your submission.

All participants will receive . electronic certificate issued by Chinese Plus.
Topic II. Chinese New Year celebrations around the world
The Most Popular Award: global netizen can vote their favorite works and the top 20 popular authors will receive the most popular award, and get a Chinese Culture MOOC gift pack worth over￥1,000.
All participants will receive an electronic certificate issued by Chinese Plus.
Related rights and benefits
1. Contributors must own the copyright for the submission;
2. The legal responsibilities related to the rights of reputation, copyright, and portrait rights involved in the video and posters are all borne by the contributors themselves, and the contributors declare that the works do not infringe third-party copyrights and/or other related legal rights;
3. Contributors agree to the secondary editing of their works;
4. Chinese Plus has the right to reuse the video works for publication, presentation, exhibition, demonstration and other publicity purposes without paying additional remuneration;
5. Minors must have the consent of their guardians to participate in this activity.
