Greetings from Confucius Institute Headquarters! Thank you for your continuous support and interests for the Chinese Program for Foreign Diplomats (CFFD).

We would like to share some great news about recent development of the Chinese Program for Foreign Diplomats (CFFD). Since 2010, the CFFD has been hosted for 18 consecutive terms, with 1,600 diplomats from over 100 embassies or international organizations joining us to develop Chinese language skills. Our Chinese courses and cultural workshops are now updated and have become even more fantastic!

The CFFD 19th cohort will commence on August 24th, 2019. If you are ready to challenge yourself and are willing to improve your Chinese level, please complete the online registration on our website: http://cffd.chinese.cn. The website and registration system will be available from 18:00 on August 8th, 2019 to the end of admission.  

NOTICE

❶ The course will accept 120 students for this term, and is only available to foreign diplomats and their spouses based in China. Under the circumstance of all submitted application documents being completed and verified, the places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

❷ All students will be placed in classes based on their Chinese language level. Please click the “Test” button on the bottom of the webpage when processing the registration to download and complete the placement test. You may select the class based on your test result. 

❸ Please notice that the class will only be open when the amount of the enrolled student meets the minimum requirement of one class; otherwise the enrolled students would be placed to other classes in equal level. If the student number exceeds the maximum of one class, we are entitled to adjust the class size and timetable on a case-by-case basis.
