Anniversary Website

To celebrate the 20th birthday of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, we launched our 20th anniversary website on 22nd May 2020, which contains major milestones of the past 20 years, selection of advocacy successes, and interviews with our members and key stakeholders, to reflect on the past and guide us through the present and into the future.

Founded in 2000, the initial goal of the European Chamber was to establish a common voice for the various business sectors of the European Union and European businesses operating in China. This is still our raison d’être today.

Hear from President Jörg Wuttke:

For the past 20 years, the European Chamber has been helping European businesses to develop their presence in China, and providing both Chinese and European authorities with constructive policy recommendations. We will continue to advocate for the future.
