2023年第四届“中译国青杯”国际组织文件翻译大赛开始报名以来，组委会收到了很多参赛选手对备赛攻略的咨询。为了让大家备赛不迷茫，比赛直通关，特意准备了针对本次赛事的“超全备赛指南”！
本次备赛指南从竞赛特点出发，结合大赛出题背景和以往三届竞赛真题，分享译前需要积累的主题领域背景知识、讲解赛题难点、聚焦阅卷重点，力求“由表及里，深入浅出”，让参赛者在备赛的同时能够充分锻炼自己的翻译技能和作为一名青年译者的职业素养，储备更多与生物多样性、环境保护以及可持续发展的相关知识。

一、大赛特点
原文短 · 强度大 · 精度高
“中译国青杯”国际组织文件翻译大赛的译文提交方式属于“不限时”的类型，即开始报名后即可下载译文开始翻译，留给参赛选手们的时间相对来说非常充足。这是不是意味着翻译起来起来会很容易呢？
如果这么想，那就大错特错了！
都说“浓缩就是精华”，翻译竞赛的原文往往也是如此。
参赛原文不仅是命题组老师精心挑选出的符合大赛主题的选段，也是隐藏着命题组老师布下种种陷阱的“地雷阵”。如果不小心中了招，就可能会和名次失之交臂了。
可以说，翻译竞赛原文长度虽不长，但强度往往很大，因此在精度上就必然有较高要求。
如果说一般日常的翻译，其精度和强度是90%-95%的话，翻译比赛至少要达到98%以上。这里的“精度”，包括了译文的格式要求，更包括了用词的精确恰当程度、修辞的使用、数字，人名和地名的译法等。
二、备赛指南
·译前准备篇·
准备工作，在任何工作中都必不可少。
对于译者来说，只有长期在各个领域广泛涉猎，才能扩充自己的知识储备。这就要求译者平时注意培养广泛的兴趣，涉猎不同的专业，广泛阅读，扩大自己的知识面，同时不断积累相关词汇和表达，做博学的杂家。
而对于短期译前准备来说，就是在拿到原稿后，认真仔细阅读原文，确认主题和文体，在此基础上多做背景补充，大量查询相关的背景资料。
